On this episode Scott & Guto look ahead to Wednesday’s game against Spurs, and are joined by Tottenham fan Kevin De Vries of the EPL Roundtable. Topics include prospective tactics, Tom Carroll’s future and whether the Swans being within touching distance of Spurs at this point in the season is more of a compliment to Monk’s side than it is worrying for Pochettino’s.
On this weekend’s podcast Scott, Steve & new panellist Guto Llewelyn discuss the 1-0 win at Burnley, whether we’re likely to retain this formation going forward, who our “man of the match” was, plus we also briefly touch on the future of Swansea’s on-loan forward Michu, whose potential return to the club is now edging ever closer.
The first preview of a weekend game (hopefully a recurring feature), Scott, Steve & new guest Lucy Carpenter look ahead to the Burnley match, and discuss how the Swans should look to take on Sean Dyche’s side.
Apologies for the audio quality on recent podcasts. This has now been addressed.
We’ve had a good few days eh? Yesterday we saw our beloved Swansea City triumph 2-1 against Manchester United, but Friday saw a Supporters Trust Forum specially organised to address concerns regarding the potential sale of 30% of the club to John Moores & Charles Noell.
We recorded the event so you can listen in it’s entirety, and if you aren’t already a paid member of the trust (which costs just £10 a year and gives you a vote if there ever was anything we needed to take a stand over) you can do so by clicking here: http://www.swanstrust.co.uk/join-the-trust/
After a relatively enforced hiatus (nobody was holding us hostage – rather we were all spectacularly busy and couldn’t find an amenable time) we’ve returned for the latest episode of The JackCast – though we are short a member!
Matt Harrison has hung up his podcasting gloves, retiring as host, so Scott has taken on that role. Together with Steve, on this podcast they look at investment talk, the ongoing discussions regarding buying the stadium, the absence of Leon Britton, as well as looking back to the WBA game and forward to Man Utd at home.
Not a great week for the Swans with Bony having just left the club, a 5-0 thumping at home to Chelsea and Bafetimbi Gomis being rather outspoken about the club with the French media. The JackCast does its best to get around the Chelsea result, before then asking how would you like to see Gomis’ punished for his comments to the press? Plus, TJC looks forward to the Swans’ FA Cup 4th Round tie away at Blackburn Rovers, as well as discussing the rumours of Blackburn’s Jordan Rhodes moving to Swansea.
